The Ed and Sylvia Aulerich Scholarship will be funded through WR COFE annual meeting registration fees.
Scholarship Description and Application Criteria
The Western Region of the Council on Forest Engineering (WR COFE) sponsors $1,000 scholarships for students who are currently enrolled in a Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree Forestry Program that has faculty who are members of WR COFE. The number of scholarships to be awarded in a given year will be determined by the WR COFE executive committee. Scholarships will be awarded at the January WR COFE annual meeting for the student’s educational costs including tuition, fees and books.
Other scholarship application criteria include the following:
Class standing: 2nd year or higher
Full Time Student
Minimum Program Accumulated GPA: 2.75
The WR COFE Executive Committee will appoint members to the Ed and Sylvia Aulerich Scholarship review committee. The Ed and Sylvia Aulerich Scholarship review committee will review applications from qualifying students and recommend students for the awards.
