The Southern Region Council on Forest Engineering (SRCOFE) will be meeting the morning of March 11, 2026, in Auburn, Alabama at the The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. The theme of the meeting is Research Results to Address Forest Operations Challenges. We will be holding a joint meeting with the Southwide Forest Resources Association (FRA) meeting. SRCOFE members may register for the SRCOFE meeting or both SRCOFE and the FRA meeting. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase our research with forest industry. I will send the link for registration when it becomes available.
The meeting will begin at 8 am (CDT) with a keynote presentation from John Deere. We will have SRCOFE research presentations from 9:00–11:50. We will conclude with a short business meeting at 11:50, and then transition to the awards lunch with FRA.
Please send your proposed presentation title and a few sentences describing your proposed presentation by close-of-business on February 4, 2026 to Joe Conrad. Notification of acceptance and a tentative presentation schedule will be sent by February 9th.
