Southern Region COFE Co-sponsors Spring Symposium in Gainesville, FL

The Florida Division SAF, UF School of Forest Resources and Conservation, Association of Consulting Foresters and Southern Regional Council on Forest Engineering are hosting a one and one half day conference that will be of interest to COFE members in the Southern US.

The theme of the 43rd Annual Spring Symposium is "Innovations in Timber Harvesting and Utilization"

The dates are May 13-14, 2015 at the Austin Cary Forest Learning Center in Gainesville, Florida.

The 43rd Annual Spring Symposium at the beautiful new Forest Learning Center will feature "Innovations in Timber Harvesting and Utilization". This one and one half day conference is appropriate for forest resource managers, loggers, engineers and forest utilization professionals and will contain content from technical to applied aspects. Sessions include "International Wood Marketing", "Forest Inventory and GIS", "Harvesting", and "Wood Energy". Separate registration may be made for a tour of the Gainesville Renewable Energy Center.
