Benjamin Flint is a graduate research assistant in the Forest Engineering Department at Oregon State University. His winning paper (co-authored with Dr. Loren Kellogg) was entitled “First Entry Commercial Thinning: A comparison of Traditional and Contemporary Harvesting Methods on Steep Slopes in the Coast Range of Oregon”.
