Persons wishing to nominate an individual to receive a COFE International Forest Engineering Achievement Award should send a nomination package to the Chairperson of The Awards Committee, Chad Bolding two months before the Annual Meeting. The package should contain the nominee’s full name, address, phone numbers, a vita that includes education, experience, awards and recognitions, a narrative describing achievements, accomplishments, service, and contributions to forest engineering, and at least four letters of testimony and support of the nomination.
- [Operator (Industry) Award](https://cofe.org/category/awards/operator-industry-award/) - Purpose: To increase practitioner participation in COFE meetings and enhance cross-exchange of information and experiences between operators, researchers, and academicians. Award: Two years of membership, free registration at the annual meeting, and a $300 cash award to help defray travel expenses to the meeting. Submission: Recommendation by an industrial representative in the form of a letter and substantiating evidence stating why it would be in the best interest of COFE and the potential attendee for him/her to receive this award. Deadline: Nominations should be sent to the Chairperson of the Awards Committee two months before the Annual Meeting.
