The Southern Region Council on Forest Engineering (SRCOFE) will be meeting on April 28, 2022 in Clemson, SC. I am expecting a mix of regular COFE attendees as well as FRA members from industry. The general theme for the SRCOFE meeting will be “Sustainable Solutions to Supply Chain Challenges”. Presentations on timber harvesting and transportation efficiency, water and site quality impacts of timber harvesting, bioenergy, and other aspects of forest operations are welcome.
As previously announced, SRCOFE will be holding a joint meeting with the Southeastern Region Forest Resources Association (FRA). The FRA meeting will be held April 26–28th, with the SRCOFE portion the morning of April 28th (Thursday). You will have the option to register for and attend both the FRA and COFE meetings, or the SRCOFE meeting only. I will send out details on registration and accommodations as I receive them from FRA.
Thanks in advance for your presentations. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the meeting.
